Man...there's been a flurry of activity over here. It's mostly been centered around TCAF of course, but there's some stuff that's just out-of-the-blue gotta-talk-about-it. So here we go!

NEW WEBSITE
Nadine Lessio was awesome enough to help me make a new website! It's super, super-shnazzy. I'm really happy with it. Also good, you can now follow me on Twitter, Facebook or Flickr! Wild, eh?

TCAF Friday
I'll be at TCAF at the Metro Reference Library, so come check me out! I'll be signing at the Owl Magazine Table on Saturday from 11am to noon, and at the Oni Press table sporadically.

Interview On The National Post
I got interviewed by the National Post recently, and the article is up! Photo credits go out to the amazing Ben Telford! Also, major thanks go out once again to the amazing Chris Butcher of the Beguiling.

Streta

I'll be selling copies of Streta at TCAF as well! Streta is my webcomic that'll be posting a page a week (hopefully), so we'll see how it goes. Let me know if you like it! I become pretty deliriously neurotic when I make stuff for myself, so your encouragement is VERY appreciated!

Also, a quick tip: I really, really could not have pulled this off without Derek Halliday, Chris Butcher, Zach Worton, Kalman Andrasofszky or Dennis Berrera (who came through with a fantastic logo for the book!) for their support. I'm really indebted to you guys, and I hope to make y'all proud.

Billy Smoke has a director attatched to it
For those of you that have been following the progress with Billy Smoke (my project with B. Clay Moore and coming out through Oni Press), I've got an update for YOU. You already know that Matthew Fox was at San Diego last year signing Billy Smoke posters, of course...well now, Billy Smoke has a director attatched to it! Jeffrey Nachmanoff, the director of Traitor and screenwriter for The Day After Tomorrow, joins our little story about a hitman's redemption. Wild!

Popgun
I'm working on a story right now for Popgun vol. 4 in conjunction with Ian Daffern, so I'll be posting my progress here and on the Popgun message board. Watch out for it!

Darkstalkers
For those of you who are wondering, I did submit (and get into) the Darkstalkers Tribute Book being offered later this year! The book will be on sale at the San Diego Comic Con (I think...more details on the link), but will be available for wide release soon . I'll post details when i've got them.

Joe Shuster Awards: Wolverine
I'll be doing a piece this year for the Joe Shuster Awards. The theme this year is everyone's favourite canuck, Wolverine! I'll post the results soon.

Free Comic Book Day
I almost forgot about Free Comic Book Day! I hope you all got your free comics, and if you were lucky enough to drop by the Beguiling, hopefully you got their free comic...because it has a brand new Battle Academy strip in it! One of these days I'll pick that sucker back up again. Got a couple of ideas in my noodle for that one...

Rated R Show
I'm working with Mara Sternberg on a gallery show for the fall, which is about as much as I can say for the moment. If you're interested in things rated R though, this could be for you! More updates as they come in...

I think that's about it for now. Anticipation for TCAF is very high, and I'm thrilled to help be a part of it! I just came back from the kickoff event (Kid Koala at Lee's Palace! Go check him out at TCAF as well. He'll have copies of his books on hand as well as some other merch!) which was awesome!

In any case, this promises to be a really thrilling week. Cheers!
