Updates!

Wow. It's honestly been a long time since I've blogged here! I'm really, really sorry about the delay. Things have been busy! Right now I'm working on a project for Oxford University Press, co-curating the Rated R Art Show, as well as a new comic for Oni Press. Not to mention doing some little do-dads for Streta! So let's get to it!

1. The Rated R Art Show
Back in January, me and Mara Sternberg came up with a notion for an art show. A show that showcases our skills outside of just what we were doing, which we felt was pretty family-friendly stuff. And not that that work isn't rewarding...but we did want to excercise our skills a bit, and showcase some broader subject material. Hence, the Rated R Art Show!

The work for it has been immense, and also extremely rewarding. I've made a ton of new friends, new acquaintances, learned a ton more, and also been helping with making the show work. As far as I can tell, things are going pretty fantastically there.

Anyways, if you're interested in attending, there are two events: the first is a fundraiser, which will be happening August 21st at The Central. It'll be amazing, as we'll have Glamour Puss Burlesque, Pavlov's Dogs, James Harrison...and we're very, very fortunate to have TMDP doing a DJ set. A huge thank you to YYZ Records and to TMDP as well!

2. The New Comic from Oni Press
I can't say much about it, other than it'll be coming out next year. Hopefully!

3. Streta
New updates for Streta, my baby! Man, I'm so excited about this! Streta has it's own comic section up in the comics area, and has received a ton of hits on my Flickr. I'm really, really happy about this. If you haven't had a chance to read it, please head on over now and check it out. I had a ton of fun doing it!

Thank yous of course, go out to Derek Halliday and Dennis Barrera in particular. Those two helped out a ton!

Well, that's it for me this time. Look forward to more comics and stories!
